Ask the annual reports.
Footnote answers questions about the 10-K filings of fifteen US companies. Every figure is read from the filing, every calculation is done in code and checked again, and every answer cites the page it came from. When the filings do not support an answer, it says so.
This page runs the whole system in your browser, with no server: the Python pipeline under Pyodide, the embedding model under transformers.js and the filings snapshot in memory. The first load downloads about 120 MB (cached by your browser afterwards) and takes under a minute on a fast connection; after that, most answers take milliseconds and document searches a second or two.
